Chuggington is an action based, energetic and vibrant 3D CGI series featuring a large cast of modern trains from around the world. The programme follows the adventures of three young trainees – Wilson, Brewster and Koko – as they learn to ride the rails. There are 52 episodes of 10 minutes plus Series 2 of a further 52 episodes (26 delivered Summer '10, 26 delivered Summer '11). Sold into 170 territories worldwide, the global roll out of the series throughout 2009 and 2010 with A-list broadcasters including UK (BBC), USA (Disney Playhouse), Germany (Super RTL), Japan (Fuji TV) and France (TF1).

The series launched in Italy on Playhouse Disney in December 2009 with a phenomenal first month viewer result. Featuring compelling story-lines, positive messages, contemporary animation and interactive entertainment, Chuggington offers a unique connection between its characters and target audience – reflecting who they are and what they experience. Along this journey they are helped and encouraged by the other characters.
